New Instructor Janine Clara

Janine Calara is a very dedicated Jiu-Jitsu practitioner.  Janine is a State Licensed and a Certified Team Curran Instructor.  She is very technical and is an amazing instructor.  Come down and check out Janine's classes.  Janine teaches the women's only class and a jiu-jitsu basics class.

Team Curran Instructor Certification

 Congratulations to the jiu-jitsu instructors at One World who had completed an intensive instructor's training course to become Certified Team Curran Jiu-Jitsu Instructors.

 "Big Frog" Jeff Curran has drawn on his over 20 years of Jiu-Jitsu and MMA fighting experience to develop the most thorough white to blue belt curriculum.  This curriculum will establish within the new practitioner a solid foundation for self defense, sport jiu-jitsu and jiu-jitsu for mma.  We are proud to be an Official Team Curran Jiu-Jitsu Training Center here at One World Martial Arts LLC.

We are wet but happy!  What a fun time paddling, doing yoga on the boards and of coarse swimming.

NAGA Chicago - May3, 2014

 One World - Team Curran Appleton competed as a team on May 3rd 2014.  We had 10 competitors go down and had 12 first and second place finishes. Not bad for a "self defense" oriented Jiu-Jitsu academy. The cross training of Judo and Jiu-Jitsu really paid off for the team with most of our competitors scoring the take down in their matches. Congrats to everyone that went down and competed!

I'm sorry to miss you at One World this Friday!  I will be teaching yoga to the kids at Horizons Elementary at their health fair.  See you Saturday at 9:45!

Grand Opening / Big Frog Seminar

We are having a Grand Opening in our new location on February 15, 2014.  Our doors will be open at 9:00 am for everyone to come and check out our new facility.  Then at 10:00 am we will be having a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu seminar with "Big Frog" Jeff Curran.  The seminar will run until 1:00 pm.  If you would like to attend the seminar contact Steven for availability and pricing at 920-740-7738.  Jeff's Jiu-Jitsu is very technical and he is an amazing instructor.  You don't want to miss this one!

Kaetlyn brings home 2 golds!

We are very proud of Kaetlyn Alston who after much hard work and dedication competed at Combat Corner. She won both of her divisions, gi and no-gi.  Congrats Kaetlyn!!!
